Noah Friedman
Noah Friedman is currently a graduate assistant of Dr. Brian Zator at the University of Texas A&M Commerce, where he is working on his Masters in Percussion Performance. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Martin in 2015 and Community High School in Bedford County, Tennessee in 2011. His previous teachers include: Dr. Julie Hill, Julie Davila, Lalo Davila, David Walker, Matt Jordan, and Mark Wilson. He participated in Community High’s Symphonic Wind Symphony and Jazz Band. He has also participated in All-Middle Tennessee Honor Bands, Wind Band Conference, and All-State Honor Band. Other extracurricular ensembles include Percussion XS and Murfreesboro Youth Orchestra. Noah auditioned successfully into the UT Martin Wind Ensemble for three years (having served as Principal in his first year). When he is not working with Syncro, Noah is involved with teaching percussion ensemble as well as the Brazilian ensemble at Commerce. He is also working with a professional percussion quartet involving all four graduate students of Dr. Zator at Commerce. Noah currently resides in Rockford, Texas with his wife, Rachel.
